Chest and Tricep Workout

by Andrew Cheyne
(Toronto)

Skull Crusher Exercise

Skull Crusher Exercise

Your Chest and Tricep Workout will always work well together as they are both pushing muscles. By working one you will generally be working the other.

Your chest is one of those glory muscle groups. The ones that really look good in a t-shirt and everyone always wants to know how much your max bench press is.

The triceps are kind of the opposite, they are not really a glory muscle group, but they do make up about 60-65% of the arm so they really make the pipes look big.

Chest and Tricep Workout
5 min stretch/bodyweight warmups

Super Set
3 x 8-10 Flat or Incline Bench Press
3 x 10-15 Dips

3 x 8-10 Skull Crushers (nice name)

Super Set (add the third exercise if you want to Tri-set for an advanced end to the workout)
3 x 8-10 Chest Flies (cable or dumbell)
3 x 8-10 Tricep Pushdowns
3 x 10-15 Pushups (for Tri-set)

This is a great Chest and Tricep Workout if you want to decrease the intensity just drop the super sets from the fitness program and do each exercise one after another with rest in between.
