How I Built This Site
I wanted to take a quick minute and introduce myself and tell you how this site came to be. The Internet Health and Fitness Database has become a site that has 1000's of visitors everyday. It started as a concept in my mind a few years ago, and has become a huge website today. Its really a fantastic thing, and something that I am really proud of.
My Name is Andrew Cheyne, and as far back as I can remember I have been into sports and fitness. In the beginning, it was certainly more about sports than fitness… Fitness was more of a bi-product to my sports than anything else.

I was actually a very good basketball player… Well, not good enough to really make it anywhere, but good enough to be my high school sports MVP. On top of that I played every sport you can think of. Anyways, as time went on and I started growing up my aspirations of becoming a pro athlete were wiped away… I still remember the day that I realized that the pro athletes were getting younger than me, was one of the worst days…
That was when I started getting into fitness. I had a big problem though. Everywhere I turned there was someone new telling me how to workout. It didn't matter if it was at the gym or online, they kept telling me what was the right way to exercise. The problem is a lot of them were totally wrong! You see I am a huge nerd, and I totally research everything.
I was particularly upset about all the mis-guided information online, and how people were actually making money off of this info. I decided to do something about it. Well that was a few years ago now, and that’s kind of how my website started.
The Internet Health and Fitness Database is a place where I research every topic that I can find on Health and Fitness and discuss it with the web in plain english. I have actually recently expanded the site to add my personal blog to the mix. This is the place where I get a bit more personal and discuss the fitness world as a whole. Its called the Feel Good and Look Better Blog Check it out!
I absolutely love as much feedback on my site as possible. My goal is not to have the richest website out there, but to have a no nonsense and no bullshit site that you can trust.

The Internet Health and Fitness Database
I have always been the kind of person that does things full force… I get that from my parents, they have always taught me to go full at things and never stop. So when I was getting into great shape I decided to learn everything I could about it.
That’s when I hit the internet, and after I was done researching everything I could get my hand on I decided to build a website.
So that’s where the IHFDB was born. I quickly checked around and found a site called Site Build It, which is the team I use to build and maintain this site. If you are at all interested in building your own site, or feel that you are an expert on something and really want to share it with the world you need to check out this site. Flat out it is the best site out there for this kind of thing, I would recommend it to anyone who has had it with their normal 9-5 job and wants a change in their life.
Anyways the IHFDB has been my lifes work for a while now, and I am always so glad when people can share it with me… I truly believe that the life of health and fitness is the best life out there, and really love the fact that you are interested in it as well.
I want to give myself a few quick plugs here. I have just recently finished my First Muscle Building EBook called the Muscle Building Masterpiece and would love for you to check it out. I know the IHFDB is about presenting free solutions to fitness, this book does have a cost, but it is more about me making back the money that I spent on it and turning just a bit of profit so I can keep the IHFDB alive.
