Some foods that you think are good for you actually are not as good for you as you think, but there are some foods that are Super Foods. These metabolism boosting foods could be that spark you need to help you get to your fitness goals. Before we start looking at these foods, it is important to start adding water to your diet. It sounds funny, but you could be adding countless calories daily by drinking pop and juices. Your body is made of 70% water and the single best thing you can drink is exactly that. Water. Now lets check out the foods that will boost your metabolism.

Grapefruit

This super metabolism boosting foods lowers the insulin levels in your body. Insulin triggers your system to store fat. Plus, it is rich in fiber, your body burns extra calories in order to break it down.

Spinach

Spinach will help make you strong and healthy, because in addition to speeding up your metabolism, it’s a great source of antioxidants, magnesium, potassium, iron and vitamin C. This is a super metabolism boosting food for sure.

Green Tea and Green Tea Supplements

Green tea is the main source of EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate). This healthy catechin speeds up your brain and nervous system, causing your body to keep burning calories.
