He did that for sure. The basis for the Sylvester Stalone Workout is a six day routine split routine where you workout twice a day.
Let me just tell you this is intense! This is for you if you are trying to get some insane results, but don't do this forever your body won't be able to take it for an extended period of time.

Monday - Wednesday - Friday
1st Workout
Chest Bench Press 5x8
Back Pulldowns 5x8
Abs (see below for ab interval)
2nd Workout
Shoulders Military Press 5x8
Shoulder Lateral Raise 5x8
Bicep Curls 5x8
Tricep Skullcrushers 5x8
Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday
1st Workout
Calves Calf Raise 5x8
Upper Leg - Squats 5x8
Abs (see ab interval below)
2nd Workout
Bent Over Row 5x8
Shoulder Press 5x8
Traps Upright Row 5x8
